F8 Privacy Policy

F8 is a BaZi (Four Pillars of Destiny) self-discovery app that helps you understand your elemental blueprint and personal destiny cycles. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.

By using F8, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

What you enter into the app

When you use F8, you provide the following to generate your BaZi chart:

• Your name (used only to personalise your reading)
• Your date of birth (day, month, year)
• Your time of birth (optional)
• Your city or location of birth (used for solar time correction)
• Your gender (used to determine your Luck Pillar direction)

If you create an account or make a purchase

• Email address (for account creation)
• Subscription status (managed by Google Play)
• Device identifiers and OS version (for crash reporting only)

What we do NOT collect

• We do not collect your GPS or precise location
• We do not access your contacts, camera, microphone, or photos
• We do not collect biometric data
• We do not sell your data to third parties
• We do not use your data for advertising

2. How We Use Your Information

• Generate and display your personalised BaZi chart and readings
• Manage your account and subscription status
• Provide customer support
• Improve app stability and performance
• Comply with legal obligations

Your birth data is used solely to calculate your chart and is never shared, sold, or transmitted to any third party.

Your birth data is stored locally on your device only. It is never uploaded to any server.

If you create an account, your email and subscription status are stored securely using Supabase, with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.

F8 is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

• Withdraw consent at any time

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where required by law.

Birth data entered into the app is stored only on your device and deleted when you uninstall the app.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page and notify you via the app or email for significant changes.
